Happy Birthday to Gary Cooper! The Hollywood legend would have been 112 years old today. He died on May 13, 1961 at age 60. He has been gone for almost as long as he lived. But, he lives on in his classic films.

My favorite Gary Cooper movie is “Pride of the Yankees” when he played Lou Gehrig. They looked so similar and had similar dispositions in real life, that I often get the two confused.

I think I’m going to have to go back and re-watch that film. Baseball season is here again and it’s been a long time since I’ve seen that film.
