Netflix Watch Instantly Movie Reviews January 2014
Netflix Watch Instantly has drastically improved its movie selection over the last few years. They still have more movies that are available to rent on disc than they do to stream, but if you do a little bit of searching then you will be able to find plenty of good movies that are worth streaming.
I have seen literally hundreds of movies that are currently available on Netflix Watch Instantly and literally thousands of movies that are currently available to rent on disc.
I have been writing movie reviews for a year now, but I have been mainly focusing on reviewing newer movies. Because of this fact, I have not reviewed very many movies that are currently available on Netflix Watch Instantly. I plan on fixing this problem soon.
I will continue to update and add to the list below throughout the month of January, and make a new list each month. My lists will hopefully help you find good movies to watch and bad movies to stay away from. I will hopefully be able to help save you time searching for a good movie to stream on Netflix Watch Instantly. My reviews will tell you what are some of the best movies available on Netflix Watch Instantly and what are some of the worst movies available on Netflix Watch Instantly.
The Netflix Watch Instantly movie library changes periodically as their contracts with different movie companies run out or are renewed. Here is a list of movies that I have reviewed that are currently available on Netflix Watch Instantly. Click on each title below for my full review of that movie, my rating, the movie’s trailer, the movie’s poster, and pictures from that movie:
Yes, the list is short now, but as the days and weeks and months go by, I will have plenty of more reviews for you to read and I will help you find the hidden gems within the Netflix Watch Instantly movie library.

Trailer for Edge of Tomorrow (2014)
Posted by Brock Winspear
Edge of Tomorrow (2014)
Tom Cruise returns for another Sci-Fi action thriller. It will be two Sci-Fi movies in a row for him after Oblivion (2013).
Edge of Tomorrow is about a soldier (Tom Cruise) who gets stuck in a time loop of his last day of battle while at war with aliens.
The film is based on the book All You Need is Kill which was written by Hiroshi Sakurazaka. Christopher McQuarrie, Jez Butterworth, and John-Henry Butterworth wrote the screen play for Edge of Tomorrow. The rest of the noteworthy cast includes Emily Blunt, Jeremy Piven, Bill Paxton, Lara Pulver, Charlotte Riley, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste.
Time travel has always been intriguing to me. Pair that with Cruise in an action movie written by McQuarrie and I’m sold.
The film is set to release on 06/06/14.
McQuarrie also wrote the screen play for Jack Reacher (2012) and directed the film which also starred Cruise. Of course, it was based on the Lee Child book, One Shot.
McQuarrie is also set to direct Mission: Impossible 5 (2015) which of course, also stars Cruise.
McQuarrie also wrote the screen play for Valkyrie (2008) which also stars Cruise.

Happy Birthday to Tom Cruise! The outstanding actor turns 51 years old today.
Cruise is one of the greatest actors of our time. Some don’t like him because of his views. I try not to judge. His films speak for themselves. The guy can act.
13 Best Tom Cruise Movies (in no particular order):
The Last Samurai (2003)
Collateral (2004)
Valkyrie (2008)
Vanilla Sky (2001)
Days of Thunder (1990)
The Color of Money (1986)
Top Gun (1986)
Minority Report (2002)
Rain Man (1988)
Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
Mission: Impossible (1996), Mission: Impossible III (2006), and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011)
There are plenty of other Cruise films that could have been on this list, but these are just my favorites.
